September 11: Wire-Wrapped Rings $25 (11:00am to 2:00pm)
Create four beautiful rings from scratch using surprisingly easy techniques. Learn wrapping, coiling and sizing. Level: Beginner-Intermediate Wire


September 18: Earrings for Beginners/Intro to Wire $25 (11:00am to 2:00pm)
The essential fundamentals class. We'll cover basic skills then make four pairs of earrings Each earring builds on the techniques practiced in the previous one. By the end you'll have a solid understanding of basic wire skills, how to apply them to designs other than earrings, and how different materials are employed. Level: Beginner Wire


September 19: Introduction to PMC: Silver Pendants $85 (Noon to 4pm)
Learn the basics of using Precious Metal Clay, or PMC: pure silver suspended in a clay-like medium. You can sculpt, shape and mold it just like earthen clay. When you fire PMC, the medium burns away and you are left with pure silver! Create your own fine silver charms and pendants, learn firing without a kiln over an open flame, and how to finish your piece including patinas. Level I Metalworking


September 25: Herringbone Wire Weave Bracelet $25 (11:00am to 2:00pm)
Weave wire in a criss-crossing pattern around each bead, making a nested frame. Link these together for a stunning result. These nestsare pretty in a bracelet, earrings or as part of a necklace! Level: Beginner-Intermediate Wire


September 26: Intro to Soldering $45 (11:30am to 3:30pm)
Build on what you learned in the "Fused Silver Necklace" class. You will learn the basics of jewelry soldering and then construct a copper and silver pendant. Techniques include sweat soldering, seam soldering, sawing, finishing and stamping. Level II Metalworking "Fused Silver Link Necklace" pre-requisite


October 2: Crystal Puffy Heart $40 (11:00am to 2:00pm)
Using right-angle weave, stitch Swarovski crystals into a sparkling "puffy" heart pendant or tree ornament.
Level: Intermediate Beadweaving


October 3rd  Flat Herrringbone Stitch Bracelet $30 11:30am to 2:30pm
Colorful beads accent this flat herringbone stitch bracelet. The variations to this pattern are countless and these little bracelets look great layered on your wrist!
Level: Beginning-Intermediate Beadweaving

October 9th Free-Form Wire Wrapped Pendants $25 11:00am to 2:00pm
Simple solutions to wrapping irregular stones and baubles. We'll practice three different wraps, depending on the shape of the stone. Use our tumbled stones and/or bring in a piece of your own to create unique pendants.
Level: Intermediate Wire

 

October 16th Peyote Stitch Swarovski Crystal Earrings $25 11:00am to 2:00pm
Use tubular peyote stitch to encase Swarovski Crystals, then embellish the edges for a dramatic set of earrings. (Variation of the same technique used in "Peyote Stitch Cabochon Pendant" Class)
Level: Beginner-Intermediate Beadweaving

 

October 23rd  "Diamond" Crystal Tennis Bracelet $35 11:00am to 2:00pm
Using the versatile beadweaving stitch called right-angle weave, construct a classic, glittering "diamond" tennis bracelet that will be perfect for special occasions. Swarovski crystal beads are woven together and framed in gold or silver to lay flat against your wrist. Your choice of crystal or colored crystals; gold or silver accents.
Level: Beginner-Intermediate Beadweaving


"Beginner" - Anyone is welcome. No experience necessary.
"Beginner-Intermediate" - Anyone is welcome; beginners may have a little trouble but should do just fine.
"Intermediate" - Anyone is welcome, but it would really help if you have some previous experience.
"Advanced" - Only people with previous experience should sign up.
