All classes are "all materials & tools included" unless otherwise indicated. Actual colors and beads may be different than the images shown, but the project remains essentially the same. To reserve a space in one of our classes, call or email us!

How do I know if I have the requisite skills for the class?
You can refer to the guideline below for help in determining the skill level for a class. If you aren't sure, call us and we'll let you know what skills will help you through the project.

Level I: Beginners are welcome.
Level II: Check description for pre-requisite.
Level III: Check description for pre-requisite.

FUSED SILVER LINK JEWELRY (Intro to Torch-Work)
Fire can be fun! Make cool, contemporary link jewelry while you learn the beginning fundamentals of metalworking with a torch. We'll make solid chain links for your necklace or earring project and our own ball-end headpins This is a pre-requisite for our beginning silver soldering class.

INTRODUCTION TO PMC: Silver Pendants
Learn the basics of using Precious Metal Clay, or PMC: pure silver suspended in a clay-like medium. You can sculpt, shape and mold it just like earthen clay. When you fire PMC, the medium burns away and you are left with pure silver! Create your own fine silver charms and pendants, learn firing without a kiln over an open flame, and how to finish your piece including patinas. More images here and here.

Intro to Riveting

INTRO TO RIVETING
Learn the cold-connection fundamentals of riveting, using both pre-made rivets and handmade wire rivets. By riveting you can connect pieces of metal without soldering or just add rivets to a piece as a decorative element.

INTRO TO STAMPING: Message Charms

INTRO TO STAMPING: Message Charms
Practice the basics of metal forming and stamping by making a cute, domed message pendant out of copper or sterling silver sheet. Learn stamping, texturing, doming, texturing, and quick oxidation.

PMC: RINGS
Take the skill you learned in Intro to PMC and apply it to ring making. Learn more about shaping, ring sizing, and setting stones in PMC. Work with silver clay and open-flame firing.
Level II Metalworking

Make this impressive tri-metal pendant from sterling silver, copper & brass without the use of expensive tools or torches. Learn the metalworking skills of sawing, riveting, finishing and oxidizing.
Level II Metalworking
"Intro to Riveting" pre-requisite
SOLDERING: Copper-Silver Pendant
Build on what you learned in the Intro to Soldering class. You will learn the basics of jewelry soldering and then construct a copper and silver pendant. Techniques include sweat soldering, seam soldering, sawing, finishing and stamping.
Level III Metalworking "Intro to Soldering" pre-requisite
SOLDERING: Flower Charms
Start soldering! Build on what you learned in the "Fused Silver Jewelry " class. You will learn the basics of jewelry soldering and construct silver flower charms. Techniques include sweat soldering, seam soldering, filing, texturing and finishing.
Level II Metalworking ("Fused Silver Link Jewelry " pre-requisite)

SOLDERING: Silver Mountain Overlay Ring

Start soldering! Build on what you learned in the "Fused Silver Jewelry " class. You will learn the basics of jewelry soldering and construct a unique mountain-scape ring. Techniques include sweat soldering, seam soldering, filing, texturing and finishing.
